I am using Overgrowth Alpha 218 and the latest version of the OGMP mod, and I have also tried downloading it from github and SUMlauncher and it still does not work.

If you would go through the steps SirWoo went through we can skip a lot of work.

To make a TL;DR of all my steps, here is a quick, clean list that should fix that issue.

1. Make sure you have the most current version of OGMP
2. Remove all folders except the ogmp folder from your Mods folder
3. Open Overgrowth, on the main menu click on the Mods button at the bottom of the screen. Make sure OGMP is enabled.
4. Load into a map and press F12 to open the server menu. Hopefully, that fixed it.
+5. If your game crashes due to a CreateObject error, then follow the last link Gyrth gave me on the previous page of this thread. You will download a version of OGMP with that error fix. Replace your original ogmp folder with the newly downloaded ogmp folder.
+6. Try opening the connection menu again.

Just use the normal https://github.com/ogmp/ogmp_client I've updated it for the lastest alpha.
You mean you don't see in in the Mods list when you click on Mods from the main menu?

Then you didn't extract it correctly or didn't put it in the right directory.

Sounds good. I don't know what else to tell you man. That's how it should work.

Do you have more mods installed? Conflicting mods will cause mods being disabled.

no other mods. so it turns out it still wont show up that i have the mod in the main menu. idk what to do now. if i can make it show up in the main menu mod section it should work i think. it says missing .xml in the mod tab though if that means anything?

This is how it should be:

It can't find the mod.xml file.
