Re: [OGMP] Overgrowth Multiplayer Mod
I am using Overgrowth Alpha 218 and the latest version of the OGMP mod, and I have also tried downloading it from github and SUMlauncher and it still does not work.

Should that branch fix it?

If you would go through the steps SirWoo went through we can skip a lot of work.IesuWalker99 wrote:I am using Overgrowth Alpha 218 and the latest version of the OGMP mod, and I have also tried downloading it from github and SUMlauncher and it still does not work.
Re: [OGMP] Overgrowth Multiplayer Mod
To make a TL;DR of all my steps, here is a quick, clean list that should fix that issue.
1. Make sure you have the most current version of OGMP
2. Remove all folders except the ogmp folder from your Mods folder
3. Open Overgrowth, on the main menu click on the Mods button at the bottom of the screen. Make sure OGMP is enabled.
4. Load into a map and press F12 to open the server menu. Hopefully, that fixed it.
+5. If your game crashes due to a CreateObject error, then follow the last link Gyrth gave me on the previous page of this thread. You will download a version of OGMP with that error fix. Replace your original ogmp folder with the newly downloaded ogmp folder.
+6. Try opening the connection menu again.

You mean you don't see in in the Mods list when you click on Mods from the main menu?

Re: [OGMP] Overgrowth Multiplayer Mod
Then you didn't extract it correctly or didn't put it in the right directory.MuzaMaster wrote:yea. i dont see it from the main menu

Re: [OGMP] Overgrowth Multiplayer Mod
Sounds good. I don't know what else to tell you man. That's how it should work.MuzaMaster wrote:i took the folder and just dragged it into my mods folder. was i supposed to do something else?

Re: [OGMP] Overgrowth Multiplayer Mod
so i got the game to work. i just extracted it instead of dragging it in but f12 doesnt bring up the connection window. i used to have the mod from the sum launcher but that version doesnt work just to let you know
Re: [OGMP] Overgrowth Multiplayer Mod
Do you have more mods installed? Conflicting mods will cause mods being disabled.MuzaMaster wrote:so i got the game to work. i just extracted it instead of dragging it in but f12 doesnt bring up the connection window. i used to have the mod from the sum launcher but that version doesnt work just to let you know

Re: [OGMP] Overgrowth Multiplayer Mod
no other mods. so it turns out it still wont show up that i have the mod in the main menu. idk what to do now. if i can make it show up in the main menu mod section it should work i think. it says missing .xml in the mod tab though if that means anything?
Re: [OGMP] Overgrowth Multiplayer Mod
This is how it should be: It can't find the mod.xml file.MuzaMaster wrote:no other mods. so it turns out it still wont show up that i have the mod in the main menu. idk what to do now. if i can make it show up in the main menu mod section it should work i think. it says missing .xml in the mod tab though if that means anything?
