Mikko Tarmia has already made most of the music for Lugaru 2, so I don't think we could use any more help at this point. Thank you for the offer though, and we may have some openings in future projects

I was making a friggin joke. You're the kind of person who calls someone sexist for saying "Ladies first".

lol. I dont mean put rap in the game. I mean put some tight ass beat like the one I made in it. I have another song that I'm going to upload soon that's not as hip-hop(ish). I play the piano in it, so it sounds a bit more classical. Oh yah, and it's just going to be me on the turntables and the music... no rap.

Rap is not a style of music. hip hop is the word you're looking for. rap is just the vocals.

Jeff, you should be accepting as much music as you can get. Video games start getting really annoying when there's only three songs, looped over and over again. (Look at "Enter the Matrix") Unless Mikko Tarmia has 5 hours of music written, you should look for lots of different instrumentals, maybe just for filler at menus and such.
And NickD, the last thing the world needs is another "hilarious" rap that you and your friend made and put on the internet, undoubtably while waiting for your Toaster Strudel to microwave.

We are aiming for quality and consistent style, rather than just adding as many songs as we can. There will probably be an option to play songs on your computer instead, if you really want to.

This is only a Suggestion and my opinion. agree or disagree. i don't care. ill state this.
Lugaru is about on Martial Art Fighting Right?
not saying that all came from Asia. (the French had there owen)
I think maybe you should go towards Oriental Music.
maybe if there is passive things going on:
the Cold Breeze in the Trees when Turner coming to a Waterfall.
Tired and saw from his walk for the last day he clambers over to the rocks Close by and takes a sip of the water. then he notices a shiny glimmer in the bottom. he takes off some of his heavy armor and goes for a look around in the pool when (maybe you could enter some techno or Metal) a Dagger Hurls Though the air. the water slows it down and then...
Yada yada yada, you get the idea hough my really bad story telling?
you could also make a real Trademark peace of music so people all know that some one is playing L2. but keep it a little Oriental.

"Too many cooks spoils the soup."
Yes, but no one likes eating "Cup O' Noodles" soup every day. It needs some flavor and variety. Play Enter the Matrix, and then we'll talk.
