Altair Rabbit WIP
Re: Altair Rabbit WIP
Perhaps you should just post it here once the model is finished - I'm interested in trying out the skinning process, but I can't promise I'll get it working properly, and there could be several other people in the same position.
Re: Altair Rabbit WIP
Looks awesome, can't wait to try it out, I'm a big fan of the AC series.
Now all we need is a hidden blade weapon.

Oh my God! Can't wait to get this!
Re: Altair Rabbit WIP
That feel when maybe I could do a hidden blade weapon.
A hip throw replacer that stabs enemies really hard?
And replacing the jump kick with a stab attack as well?
hmm...

This is absolutely stunning, good on you! By far the best downloadable character and it's not even out yet xD

...I was going to say, you could just have some cuts in the side of the hood like the raiders have, only with a mesh to still hide the eyes. Though maybe that's more of an imperfect solution.Acideos wrote:Sumguy720: yea lol my gf yelled at me about that just a few mins ago. I want to keep the hood as close to Altair's as I can but herbivorous creatures have that obvious eye issue. eh ill just pretend he has a 6th sense when im playing with it lol.
Blind-folded sixth-sense rabbit! Yeah!

Re: Altair Rabbit WIP
I added op on Skype since I know how to weight paint and rig characters in Blender, and I've looked at the rabbit rig in OG. But I haven't received a response yet.

Is that for me? If so I think you misread, I wrote that I know how to do what op wants and I've contacted him but I'm yet to receive a response.pumpernickel wrote:Try starting here

and use the rabbit_rig.blend, not the turner one.

Re: Altair Rabbit WIP
Yyupp, was directed at you, as I myself also already knew how to rig and weight paint (and animate) in blender and nonetheless wasted a fair amount of time on trying to do stuff (a fist) with the turner.rig I thought it wouldn't do any harm to mention that prob, just in case ;¬)Is that for me? If so I think you misread
If you already knew all this then nvm, just pretend I didn't write anything^^
